Hollywood Star Sally Kirkland in Hospice After Heartbreaking Health Diagnosis
Veteran actress Sally Kirkland, aged 84, has been placed in hospice care following her battle with dementia. The Hollywood legend, diagnosed with the degenerative illness in 2024, is currently hospitalized in Palm Springs, California.
Friends launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover her urgent medical expenses, noting that she has faced two separate life-threatening conditions. The fundraiser has collected more than $58,000 toward a $65,000 goal.

Her representative, Michael Greene, confirmed to the Daily Mail that Kirkland’s dementia diagnosis came in 2024. She is being accompanied by her close friend Coty Galloway, with Paige Dylan and Mel England also helping organize the fundraising efforts.
