Cebu Pacific, the Philippines' leading airline, is enhancing its fleet in December by entering a damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air to address the expected surge in passenger demand during the peak travel season.

Details of the Agreement

CEB has signed a contract with Bulgaria Air for two Airbus A320 CEO aircraft to operate four domestic routes from Manila to Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro. This arrangement will last from December 2025 to January 2026. Each leased A320ceo will have a seating capacity of 180 passengers.

Bulgaria Air's Role in the Partnership

Bulgaria Air, the national airline of Bulgaria, brings extensive experience in damp leasing aircraft, having worked with numerous worldwide carriers. Under the agreement, Bulgaria Air will provide the aircraft, pilots, maintenance, and insurance, while Cebu Pacific will supply its own cabin crew.

"We are continuously exploring ways to expand our fleet and ensure operational resilience," said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao. "Our damp lease agreement with Bulgaria Air will allow us to meet strong travel demand from December 2025 to January 2026."
