Following a 2-5 start in the 2025-26 NBA season, the Sacramento Kings have adjusted their roster by signing free agent Precious Achiuwa, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
The Kings’ frontcourt has faced difficulties early in the season after losing Keegan Murray to a UCL tear in his left thumb. Murray had surgery last month, with his recovery status to be re-evaluated next Monday at the earliest, as the team announced.
Achiuwa, 26, previously played for the New York Knicks, averaging 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds across 57 games last season.
“Keegan Murray underwent surgery last month. His status will be reevaluated next Monday at the earliest,” the Kings stated.
