Free agent center Precious Achiuwa has agreed to a deal with the Sacramento Kings, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. This move marks the start of Achiuwa's sixth NBA season.
To create space for Achiuwa, the Kings are expected to waive second-year center Isaac Jones. Jones, 25, averaged 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds in 5.7 minutes per game during his time with Sacramento.
Achiuwa, 26, was originally selected 20th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Draft. He was waived by the Heat before the 2025–26 season.
Over five NBA seasons, he has played 320 regular-season games with the Heat, Raptors, and Knicks, posting averages of 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds in about 20 minutes per game. Last season, Achiuwa appeared in 66 games for New York, starting 10 of them, and averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds.
