‘Beatles’ Biopics Cast Fab Four Spouses
Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, Aimee Lou Wood, and Mia McKenna-Bruce have been officially cast as the wives of The Beatles in the upcoming four-film cinematic event.

- Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey
These characters each married a member of The Beatles during the peak of the band's success in the 1960s.

About the Film Project
The ambitious project, directed by Sam Mendes, will consist of four films, each showing the story from the viewpoint of a different Beatle:
- John Lennon (portrayed by Harris Dickinson)
- Paul McCartney (portrayed by Paul Mescal)
- George Harrison (portrayed by Joseph Quinn)
- Ringo Starr (portrayed by Barry Keoghan)
The films trace the journey of the band members from their early days as unknown musicians in Liverpool in the 1960s to becoming the world's biggest band before their breakup in 1970.
Significance of the Project
This is the first time The Beatles and their families have granted music and life rights for a theatrical feature film about their lives and legacy.
Linda McCartney, née Eastman, met Paul McCartney in 1967 while working as a photographer.
