No Limit rapper Young Bleed passed away at the age of 51. His eldest son, Ty'Gee Ramon Clifton, confirmed the tragic news on Instagram on Saturday, November 1.
"Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u 💔💔💔 #youngbleed #mydad #myfather @therealyoungbleed," Ty'Gee wrote.
"I’m glad he went out in style!!!! One time fa the one time🔥🔥🔥🔥."
Alongside the message, Clifton shared a video confirming his father "gained his wings" on November 1.
Clifton addressed misinformation about his father's age and health. He noted that Young Bleed did not have significant health problems but did manage high blood pressure with medication.
After performing in a CashMoney vs. NoLimit Verzuz event at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, which celebrated Louisiana hip-hop legends, Young Bleed went to an afterparty. Shortly after, his condition worsened significantly.
Ty'Gee explained the incident was a natural medical event. Young Bleed collapsed due to a brain aneurysm caused by internal bleeding.
"It was more of a natural thing that happened to him," Clifton said.
Clifton expressed his thanks to the doctors who cared for his father during this difficult time.
