The Celebrity Traitors has concluded with Alan Carr as the winner, despite his frequent sweating and speaking louder than others. One lingering question was whether Alan and singer Paloma Faith, a friend he "murdered" early in the series, had reconciled.
During the last episode of The Celebrity Traitors partner show, Uncloaked, host Ed Gamble confronted Alan Carr with a question about making amends. He said:
"Now with the nation watching, do you think it's time for an apology? I mean, Paloma's sat right there."
Alan responded with a mixture of discomfort and humor:
"I am so sorry. You know I am and I want to tell everyone that I'm the father of a child. We had a make-up hug, one thing led to another."
Paloma Faith, who is expecting her fourth child, reflected on the situation with emotion:
"Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions I feel like that the reason why Alan won, and the reason why I was so sad, was because we all love him so much. And I love you so much and I'm so happy that you won because it was bloody worth it then. But I think that most people didn't vote for you because they're like how can we vote someone that's so lovable and it really concludes that thing that you you won it, you hurt me and I loved you, but...."
Alan lightened the mood by joking:
"Only love can hurt like that.."
This was a reference to Paloma’s 2014 hit song, Only Love Can Hurt Like This.
This candid exchange revealed a heartfelt friendship tested but not broken, showing sincerity beneath the show's playful drama.
