Cineplex Community Day 2025
On Saturday morning, November 15, enjoy free movies and gaming across Cineplex locations to celebrate Community Day and support BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Free Movie Screenings at Cineplex Theatres
Visit your local Cineplex theatre for a free family-friendly movie. Universal Pictures is showcasing titles including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
Selected concession items such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for $3 each plus tax during the morning.
Complimentary Gaming at XSCAPE, The Rec Room & Playdium
XSCAPE locations offer 30 minutes of free non-redemption gaming for visitors. Meanwhile, The Rec Room and Playdium open at 9:00 a.m. with free one-hour non-redemption game bands.
Until noon, food specials are available:
- The Rec Room: fries and mini donuts for $3 each
- Playdium: fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy at the same price
Supporting BGC Canada
Throughout the day, $1 from every food and beverage purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada.
One dollar from every concession order of select items, including popcorn, soft drinks, and candy purchased during the event, will be donated to the national nonprofit.
