Sckolnick remained present at Beauty's until his death, managing the line-ups, greeting regulars and tourists, and acting as a genial presence.

His hospitality had a lasting impact on visitors to Beauty's, prompting many heartwarming thoughts and memories.

Sckolnick's funeral took place on November 29 at Paperman & Sons, with the shiva from November 29 to December 4.
