Fairphone, which has manufactured ethically-sourced smartphones for over ten years, mainly sold in Europe, is now entering the US market with repairable headphones, according to CEO Raymond van Eck.
Fairphone CEO Raymond van Eck told Reuters, that their first product in the US will be a pair of repairable headphones, marking a potential step towards selling repairable smartphones directly in the US.
Previously, US customers could only access Fairphone products through the /e/ Foundation, often at higher prices with a de-Googled Android version called /e/OS. The move to introduce headphones hints at future availability of sustainable, repairable smartphones in the US.
The PlayStation Portal, initially designed for local network streaming, now supports cloud gaming, making it possible to stream games without needing a PS5, as announced by Sony.
Originally, the device was positioned for streaming over local networks, but now it includes cloud gaming capabilities, which have been in beta since last year.
This feature expands the device's functionality, allowing users to access games via cloud services, similar to other portable gaming options.
