Lightroom Classic October 2025 Update
Adobe has released an update for Lightroom Classic that includes six new features, performance improvements, and expanded camera and lens profile support.

AI-assisted Culling Details
This new feature uses artificial intelligence to scan imports and automatically reject low-quality photos while applying slight edits to the selected images. Adobe describes it as being in early access.
To activate AI-assisted culling:
- Go to Catalog Settings, then Metadata, and enable Assisted Culling.
- Alternatively, select the drop-down next to the Identity Plate and enable Auto Analysis to access it.
After import analysis, users can adjust sliders to refine culling preferences:
- Subject focus
- Eye focus, including rejection of photos without visible eyes
- Eyes open, with the option to reject images when eye status is uncertain
Adobe states, "This tool is still in early access."
Additional Updates
The update also adds the ability to zoom while cropping images and enhances tethering options by supporting Leica cameras. The new color variance slider offers photographers more precise control over color adjustments.
