Oliver Gilding, former head of licensing and innovation at Iceland Foods, has founded a new independent licensing agency called Food Brands Now (FBN). This move aims to "redefine the landscape of food licensing" by leveraging Iceland's expertise in exclusive brands and product innovation.
Food Brands Now will collaborate with retailers, manufacturers, and other brands to launch and develop new food and drink products. While operating independently from Iceland Foods, FBN will continue managing Iceland’s portfolio of exclusive brands and extend its services to new retail partnerships.
“Our mission is to help brands grow with strategic purpose, enable retailers to differentiate with impact, and support manufacturers in bringing exciting, innovative products to market,” said Oliver Gilding.
FBN combines deep category expertise with agility, assisting brands to enter new aisles, unlock categories, and reach wider audiences by focusing exclusively on food.
Gilding brings knowledge from Iceland’s exclusive brands programme, where the company worked with brands such as Sides to innovate and expand product lines.
