Footy legend Brendan Fevola revealed that he was the victim of a bizarre home invasion over the weekend, which left him fearing for the safety of his family.
The Incident
Fevola, father of four, was getting ready to take his youngest daughter, Tobi, rollerskating when the unusual event occurred. As they were leaving, he turned around and was shocked to see an elderly woman entering his hallway accompanied by her dog.
“Oh my god, I’ve had an intruder,” Fevola told the Fifi, Fev and Nick show. “I turn around and see this old lady with a dog walking into our house with a dog and the dog just comes in and I go: ‘Hello?’”
Fevola's Reaction and Concerns
Initially, Fevola feared it was a setup or that the woman was casing his house, especially because it happened on Halloween weekend. He worried this might be a precursor to a robbery.
“I was like: ‘Is this person scoping my house out? Get old people to come into my house and see what you’ve got and later on you get robbed.’ I was like: ‘Is this a set-up?’”
