Metlink Expands Services for Wellington Phoenix Game Day
Greater Wellington Te Pane Matua Taiao announced extra capacity on Metlink train services and larger buses for fans attending the Wellington Phoenix double header at Sky Stadium on Saturday, 8 November.
Match Schedule
- The Phoenix women will start their season at 4pm, facing Canberra United.
- The men's team will play a derby against Auckland FC at 7pm.
Transport Arrangements
Standard Saturday timetables will operate on all train lines. Additional services will be available on the Hutt Valley and Johnsonville lines after the games. However, no extra services will run on the Kapiti line post-match.
Core bus routes will increase capacity, and the East-by-West ferry will maintain its usual schedule.
