Influencer Denies Affair Rumors with LSU Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier
On November 5, influencer and content creator Peighton Tubre took to Instagram to address and deny allegations of an affair with LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. The rumors started after reports claimed the two were seen entering a hotel room together the night before one of Nussmeier’s games.
Tubre, known for her football commentary and followed by over 1 million people online, explained her initial reaction to the rumors in a video post. She said the original article on Facebook only had about 30 likes, so she chose not to respond immediately to avoid giving it more attention.
“Recently, there was an article posted on Facebook saying that I was having an affair with Garrett Nussmeier, that we were seen entering a hotel room together the night before one of his games.”
Hoping the story would fade away, she explained,
“I was just kind of hoping that it was going to go away and nobody was going to see it.”
However, as the rumors spread widely, Tubre said,
“Everyone saw it. People are blowing up my phone.”
