On Sunday night, six people were shot and one man was killed in three separate violent incidents throughout New York City, police reported.
Just before 9 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call inside a building between East 142nd and East 143rd Streets on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven. They found three males, including a teenager, wounded by gunfire.
All three were transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
About 20 minutes earlier, police were called to a home on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Streets in Whitestone, where multiple people were shot.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Authorities recovered a firearm at the scene, and detectives continue to investigate.
