The fourth T20 International between New Zealand and the West Indies was called off due to persistent rain after less than seven overs in Nelson on Monday.
New Zealand continues to lead the series 2–1, with the decisive fifth match scheduled in Dunedin on Thursday.
West Indies had reached 38 for 1 in 6.3 overs when rain returned, forcing officials to abandon play at Saxton Oval.
Earlier, New Zealand lost the opening game at Auckland’s Eden Park by seven runs. They bounced back to win the second match at the same venue by three runs and secured a nine-run victory in Nelson on Sunday.
“The match at Saxton Oval was abandoned after a second rain interruption, leaving both sides disappointed,” a match official confirmed.
