Queensland Police Service Mourns Ian Leavers APM
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is deeply saddened to confirm the unexpected passing of Ian Leavers APM, Queensland Cross-Border Commissioner, former President of the Queensland Police Union of Employees (QPUE), and former QPS member.
Mr. Leavers was found deceased around 9:50 a.m. after police responded to a Mount Ommaney address. His death is not being treated as suspicious, and investigations continue.
