Jaafar Jackson, nephew of the late pop icon, takes on the role of his uncle in the upcoming film Michael. The newly released teaser highlights how closely he captures the spirit and movement of the King of Pop.

Produced by Lionsgate, the biopic Michael has been in development since 2019. The fresh teaser trailer intercuts scenes from Jackson’s childhood with moments from his rise to global fame, featuring the making of landmark projects such as the Thriller video.

Alongside Jaafar Jackson, the cast includes Coleman Domingo, Miles Teller, Nia Long, Larenz Tate, Kat Graham, and Quincy Jones.
