Philippine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific recently strengthened its widebody fleet by receiving its 13th Airbus A330neo aircraft. This addition highlights the airline’s status as Asia's largest A330neo operator and enhances its operational resilience.
The new 459-seat plane arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on November 2, flying in from Airbus’ Toulouse, France facility. It is the third out of four A330neo aircraft scheduled for delivery this year, following arrivals on March 28 and July 18.
“This aircraft enables us to serve more passengers while keeping costs low, which is a key part of our mission to offer affordable fares for everyone.” – Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer
Cebu Pacific assigned the new widebody to a four-times-weekly route between Manila and Puerto Princesa. Additionally, daily flights between Manila and Bohol using the A330neo will start on November 16.
The A330neo offers Cebu Pacific versatility to operate on both regional and long-haul routes, effectively meeting demand on high-traffic sectors while maintaining cost efficiency.
