Actor Govinda Hospitalised After Falling Unconscious
Bollywood actor Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Asia Multispecialty Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday night after he suddenly lost consciousness at home. His secretary, Shashi Sinha, confirmed he had been feeling uneasy before collapsing around 10 p.m.
“Govinda complained of uneasiness before he fainted. He was immediately taken to CritiCare Hospital,” said Sinha.
A neurologist is expected to examine Govinda to identify the cause of the incident. There is currently no information on how long he will remain under observation.
Govinda’s lawyer and associate, Lalit Bindal, confirmed the actor’s hospitalisation. He explained that Govinda lost consciousness at around 8:30 p.m. at his home.
“Initially, doctors had prescribed him medication, but when his condition worsened, he was taken to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu around 1:00 a.m.,” said Lalit Bindal.
Lalit Bindal accompanied Govinda to the hospital. All necessary medical tests are underway, and the actor is under close medical supervision. His condition is currently stable, and further treatment will depend on test results.
