FromSoftware will release the Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC titled The Forsaken Hollows on December 4, 2025. The expansion introduces new content and revisits familiar faces from the Dark Souls series.
The PlayStation State of Play revealed The Forsaken Hollows, set in the depths of Limveld where a massive rift called the Great Hollow has opened. This mysterious chasm reshapes the land and hides ancient ruins, energy-draining crystals, and many dangerous creatures.
Players can journey once again as a seasoned Nightfarer or try one of two new classes introduced in the DLC: the Scholar, a clever Nightfarer with deep knowledge, and the Undertaker, an abbess who combines faith and strength. Along the way, players will battle the Dancing Lion from Shadow of the Erdtree and the legendary knight Artorias from Dark Souls.
“In our war against the Night, every battle left a scar. A foul life, born of cast-away souls. Steel your resolve, Nightfarers. This hunt must be seen to its end.” — FromSoftware
