Actor Govinda was hospitalized on Tuesday night after fainting at his residence. According to his lawyer and close friend Lalit Bindal, the actor had been feeling unwell prior to the incident and was taken promptly to the hospital for medical evaluation.
“He was feeling disoriented. All tests are done, and we are now awaiting reports and opinion of neuro consultation. He is stable now,” said Lalit Bindal while updating India Today on Govinda’s condition.
Medical professionals completed all essential tests, and Govinda’s condition is currently reported as stable. Doctors are monitoring him closely while awaiting results from neurological assessments to determine the next steps.
This hospitalization follows a previous accident that occurred in October of the prior year when Govinda sustained a gunshot wound to his leg while handling his licensed revolver. The mishap took place early in the morning as he prepared for a show in Kolkata.
“I was leaving for a show in Kolkata and it was early morning around 5... woh giri aur chal padi (it fell and misfired),” recalled the actor after recovering from the earlier incident.
As of now, Govinda is in stable condition under medical care, with no further complications reported since his admission.
