Cebu Pacific announced the delivery of a brand-new Airbus A320neo on Saturday, enhancing its fleet as the busy holiday travel season nears. This narrowbody plane arrived in Manila from the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France.
The A320neo is the airline's first of its kind and the fourth aircraft added this year. It will be deployed immediately on regional routes to support both domestic and international flights.
This delivery follows the arrival of three Airbus A330neo aircraft earlier in the year, further boosting Cebu Pacific's passenger capacity.
"This latest delivery helps ensure we have enough capacity to serve passengers looking to fly home or discover new destinations this holiday season," said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao.
"We’re committed to making travel more accessible and convenient, especially during this time of year when more Filipinos take to the skies," Lao added.
Cebu Pacific expects to receive three additional aircraft in the coming months as part of its long-term fleet modernization, aiming to maintain safe, reliable, and accessible air travel.
Summary: Cebu Pacific strengthens its holiday travel capacity by adding a new Airbus A320neo, continuing fleet modernization with more aircraft expected soon.
