OTTAWA – On November 6, 2025, it was announced that the annual Sens Skills competition, featuring Ottawa Senators players competing in a fun and friendly skills challenge, will return on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Canadian Tire Centre. The event is sponsored by CAA North & East Ontario (CAA NEO).
The lively competition divides the Senators players into two teams that face off in several skill-based events:
In addition, four “Junior Draft” players will join their hockey heroes on the ice, including representatives from the PWHL’s Ottawa Charge. Doors open at 12 p.m.
“For every boy or girl in the stand, there are parents who are getting up early on a Sunday morning to get them to practice. The event celebrates not just our sport, but the community around it. The Sens Skills event not only draws over 10,000 hockey families but also supports the Senators Community Foundation and promotes inclusivity and engagement across all levels of hockey.
