Ormat Technologies Inc. and Puna Geothermal Venture invite residents and stakeholders to join the final quarterly community meeting of the year. Quarterly meetings provide community members a space to share thoughts, ask questions, and learn about geothermal energy’s role in Hawaiʻi’s clean energy future. This is a public forum where feedback helps shape the path forward. “Community engagement is not just part of our process — it’s the heart of it,” said Mike Kaleikini, Senior Director of Hawaiʻi Affairs at Ormat Technologies, in an announcement about the upcoming meeting. These conversations help identify what matters most to neighbors as progress toward a sustainable future is pursued.

Puna Geothermal will provide updates on current plant operations, including improvements and progress on the Repower Project. Future plans and initiatives aimed at supporting Hawaiʻi’s clean energy goals will also be shared, and a dedicated Q&A session will give attendees the opportunity to speak directly with Puna Geothermal leadership. The meeting will be recorded and posted on the Puna Geothermal website for those unable to attend in person.
