Radiohead have postponed the first two nights of their scheduled four-show run in Copenhagen after frontman Thom Yorke developed what the band described as an extreme throat infection.
The concerts originally set for early December will now take place on December 15 and 16, allowing Yorke time to recover before returning to the stage.
"Thom is under strict vocal rest and receiving treatment. We’re deeply sorry to everyone affected, but it’s crucial he fully recovers before performing," the band said in a statement.
Fans who purchased tickets for the postponed shows can use them for the new dates or request refunds through official channels.
The remaining Copenhagen performances and the upcoming European leg of Radiohead’s tour are currently expected to proceed as planned, depending on Yorke’s health.
