Radiohead have postponed two scheduled concerts in Copenhagen on December 1 and 2 because of illness. The band’s frontman, Thom Yorke, is reportedly suffering from what has been described as an "extreme throat infection," forcing the group to delay their performances.
Organizers confirmed that doctors advised Yorke to rest completely, making it impossible for him to perform without risking further complications. The band expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to fans and assured that they plan to reschedule the dates as soon as possible.
“We’re truly sorry to postpone these shows. Thom needs a full recovery before returning to stage,” the group said in a statement.
Ticket holders have been informed that their tickets will remain valid for the new dates, which will be announced once the band finalizes the revised schedule.
“Fans are encouraged to keep their tickets, as they will automatically transfer to the rescheduled performances in Copenhagen,” promoters explained.
