Radiohead have postponed their first two concerts in Copenhagen, originally scheduled for 1 and 2 December, after frontman Thom Yorke suffered from throat problems.
In an official message shared with fans, the band explained:
"We’re sorry to announce that due to illness, Thom Yorke is unable to perform, and we must reschedule the Copenhagen shows planned for 1st and 2nd December."
The group added that they were deeply disappointed to delay the opening of their tour but wanted to ensure Yorke had time to recover fully before returning to the stage.
Tickets for the postponed performances will remain valid for the new dates, which will be announced soon. Fans who cannot attend the rescheduled shows will have the option to request a refund.
The Copenhagen concerts were set to open the next leg of Radiohead’s European tour. The band has not indicated any changes to the remaining tour schedule, suggesting those shows are expected to go ahead once Yorke recovers.
"We’re grateful for your understanding and patience," the statement continued. "Thom’s health must come first, and we look forward to performing again soon."
