Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan attended the Delhi wedding of Gunjika Batra and Chetan Chauhan, the daughter of businessman Anil Kumar Batra. At the celebration, he entertained guests with his trademark charm, dancing, greeting people and turning the event into a glamorous spectacle. The wedding took place in Delhi last month, adding to the string of high-profile functions he has recently graced.
During the luxury celebrations, Shah Rukh Khan stepped into the role of a “love guru” on stage with the bride and groom. Speaking to groom Chetan, he humorously summed up his marriage mantra: the husband should simply do what his wife says, because “what is life without them?” His light-hearted advice was meant to help the newlyweds build a happy life together while keeping the mood playful.
“We only have to do what they (wife) are saying. What is life without them?”
In another widely shared clip from a similar Delhi celebration, he also suggested that if a couple stays friends, they can avoid many problems in marriage, joking that if issues do arise, he will be there as a “love guru” to help.
The event featured a number of major Bollywood personalities who joined as performers and guests. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan was present at the wedding, and the two were seen near the couple as they cut a massive cake. Other well-known names included Janhvi Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sohail Khan and Shilpa Shetty, contributing to the wedding’s lavish, star-filled atmosphere.
Shah Rukh Khan also used the occasion to tease his next big-screen outing, titled “King”. The film is set to be directed by Siddharth Anand and features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Saurabh Shukla, Abhay Verma, Karanvir Malhotra and Suhana Khan. The project, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, is currently in production and planned for a major theatrical release in 2026.
