ESCANABA — An awareness walk will take place on Wednesday along Ludington Street to commemorate White Cane Safety Day and highlight! the travel difficulties faced by people with visual impairments in the community.
The walk, scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Ludington Grill, 1110 Ludington St., aims to raise awareness about the visually impaired in the community. Participants are welcome to join and may choose to complete the route with or without a blindfold.
