Ornge, Ontario's air ambulance service provider, has returned its Sikorsky S76 helicopters to patient transport service after a voluntary grounding following a fatal crash on May 31.
The crash in Moosonee resulted in the deaths of all four people on board: Capt. Don Filliter, First Officer Jacques Dupuy, Flight Paramedic Dustin Dagenais, and Flight Paramedic Chris Snowball.
Ornge officials are confident they are safe to return to service, based on preliminary information from the Transportation Safety Board.
The company made the announcement on June 4, stating that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
