Gill slammed his 10th test century during the second test match against West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
He and Yashasvi Jaiswal resumed India's batting on day 2, with Jaiswal being dismissed for 175 runs after an unlucky run-out.
Gill formed notable partnerships, including 91 runs with Nitish Kumar Reddy and 102 runs with Dhruv Jurel.
