Annual Trinity Episcopal Pumpkin Patch Returns to the Coast
The Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian has officially started its pumpkin season with a unique patch overlooking the beach.
Volunteers have unloaded a fresh shipment of pumpkins from New Mexico, and the patch is now open daily from 10 a.m.
The patch offers a distinctive blend of fall and Gulf Coast scenery, making it a one-of-a-kind destination on the Coast.
According to Jeanna Tagge, the Pumpkin Lady, the patch is not just about the scenery, but also about giving back to the community.
That’s what keeps me going. You know, I love talking to the people. I love watching the kids and the families get together and choosing their pumpkins.
The proceeds from the patch support local organizations, including:
- Pass Christian Boys and Girls Club
- Gulfport Humane Society
- The Lad Project
- Woodside Wildlife Rescue
