After 21 years of playing professional soccer, Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan announced he will retire after the 2025 season.
Guzan joined Atlanta United midway through the team’s inaugural season in 2017 and led the team to a 2018 MLS Cup and the 2019 U.S.
“21 years is a long time,” “I’m just a kid from Chicago who instantly knew this game was for me. Today, as I prepare to hang up my gloves, I know this journey was never just about me. THANK YOU - TO EVERYONE.”
