Montreal Municipal Election: Registration Deadline Approaches
The deadline to register to vote in the Montreal municipal election is 6 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 16. To participate in the upcoming election on November 2, citizens must register by this deadline.
To verify registration status, visit the Elections Montreal website. If you have voted in previous municipal elections at your current address, you are likely registered. Otherwise, registration must be done in person or via a Teams meeting within the next two days.
Note that if you’re not registered by the deadline, there is no way to vote in the upcoming Montreal election, unlike the federal voting procedure.
