Zambia: Vice President to Attend 2025 Lusaka Province Independence Carnival
Vice President Mutale Nalumango is expected to attend the 2025 Lusaka Province Independence Carnival on October 25th at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
According to Lusaka Province Principal Public Relations Officer Logic Lukwanda, preparations for the event are underway. This year's theme is
"61 Years of Peace and Unity – Building a Resilient and Prosperous Zambia", which reaffirms the country's motto of
"One Zambia, One Nation", a bedrock of national unity since independence in 1964.
The Lusaka Province Administration interprets the theme as a reaffirmation of the peace and unity Zambia has enjoyed over the past 61 years.
