Gen V Creator Eric Kripke Discusses Major Twist
Eric Kripke, co-creator and executive producer of Gen V, has revealed a significant plot twist in episode 7 of season 2.
The twist shows that Dr. Thomas Godolkin, played by Ethan Slater, has been disguising himself as Godolkin University dean Cipher, played by Hamish Linklater.
Dr. Godolkin's plan was to train Marie, played by Jaz Sinclair, to become strong enough to obtain the power of healing and/or resurrection.
- Dr. Godolkin tricks Marie into bringing him back to his original form.
- He then removes himself from his host, Cipher, whose real name is Doug Brightbill.
Kripke also discussed the timeline between the end of Gen V season 2 and the beginning of The Boys season 5.
