Yankees Overhaul Coaching Staff
The New York Yankees have begun a major shakeup of Aaron Boone's coaching staff after another postseason failure.
Two of Boone's longest-serving assistants, Mike Harkey and Travis Chapman, will not return. Harkey served as bullpen coach, while Chapman was the first base coach.
In addition to these exits, hitting coach James Rowson and third base coach Luis Rojas are exploring managerial jobs elsewhere, potentially leading to further changes.
This overhaul marks the most sweeping set of changes since Boone took over as Yankees manager in 2018. Despite the changes, Boone is expected to return for his ninth season.
