YouTube Down for More Than a Hundred Thousand Users
YouTube experienced a major outage, with thousands reporting issues. At its peak, 366,172 users in the U.S. had reported issues with YouTube, according to Downdetector.
Downdetector tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources, basing its numbers on user-submitted reports. The platform reported that over 600,000 users have experienced problems with YouTube.
YouTube has since fixed the issue affecting video streaming services for users. As YouTube states:
