The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats secured a 3-0 shutout win over Wheeling at Bishop Schmitt Field on Wednesday.
Three different Lady Bobcats scored, and senior goalkeeper Maite Coutinho made several saves to secure the clean sheet. Wesleyan controlled the tempo from the start, with midfielders Isabella Mazza and Sofia Avila generating repeated pressure.
The breakthrough came in the 40th minute when defender Tessa Grisez finished a service from Carlie Ice inside the box.
