Brenham Toastmasters Group Celebrates Charter Ceremony
The Brenham Toastmasters group hosted its first official meeting on Monday, marking a significant milestone for the organization.
Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs, with approximately 270,000 members.
Notable attendees at Monday's charter meeting included Brenham Mayor Atwood Kenjura, Brenham City Manager Carolyn Miller, Brenham City Councilmember Dr. Paul LaRoche III, and Burton City Councilmember Jeff Eckhardt.
The group meets Monday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Brenham Police Department, and all are welcome to attend or join.
