Montverde Academy ELA Class Participates In A Book Tasting Activity
By Nichole Smith, Montverde Academy. Sixth-grade students in Mrs. Parets's ELA class participated in a "book tasting" activity, sampling 18 fiction books connected to the question
"How are people changed through their relationships and experiences?"
The activity featured a variety of genres, topics, lengths, and Lexile levels, providing options for every reader. Students chose three unfamiliar books that genuinely interested them.
Over the next four weeks, they will be assigned one of their top choices to explore in depth.
