The Idaho State Board of Education held its last two meetings at Lewis-Clark State College, discussing various topics concerning schools across the state.
"Our first priority this year has to do with our name change effort to become Lewis-Clark State University,"
said President Cynthia Pemberton. The planned "university" rebrand aims to establish LCSC as a main destination for higher education and athletics.
Enrollment at the college has reached an all-time high, with a significant increase from the fall of 2021.
The rebrand is set to coincide with the newly launched LC State homecoming celebration, focusing on baseball, in the spring.
