Simi Valley Teens Face Felony Assault and Hate Crime Charges
Three teens from Simi Valley, charged in connection with a hate crime on August 1, will remain in custody.
The Ventura County District Attorney's Office announced that the teens were remanded into the Juvenile Detention Facility following detention hearings.
All three minors pleaded not guilty to all charged counts, according to a press release from the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.
Prosecutors argued for the detentions based on a recommendation from the Ventura County Probation Department.
