Arrests in Child Abuse Case
A Muroc Joint Unified School District employee and his wife were arrested on alleged child abuse charges related to three children under 14.
The Kern County Sheriff's Office reported that 38-year-old Matthew James and his 35-year-old wife, Brittany James, were taken into custody by Mojave/Boron substation deputies on October 14, 2025.
