Sevilla's Defeat to Mallorca
Nigeria internationals Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke played for Sevilla in their 3-1 loss to Mallorca in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday.
Adams was substituted in the 71st minute, while Ejuke entered the game with just two minutes left.
The defeat leaves Sevilla in seventh place with 13 points in the league table, missing the chance to temporarily move five points behind leaders Real Madrid.
Sevilla had previously won two straight games, including a 4-1 win against Barcelona, but were unable to continue their impressive run despite taking the lead in the 16th minute through Vargas.
Sevilla's loss to Mallorca halted their momentum, leaving them further behind in the league standings.
