Halifax App and Online Banking Down
Halifax users are reporting issues with the bank's app and website, leaving them unable to access their accounts.
Problems started being reported just before 9am, with almost 4000 issues being reported, according to Downdetector.

Downdetector is a website that tracks issues with popular services, including social media and banking platforms.

According to Downdetector, the site only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.
Downdetector describes itself as "where people go when services don’t work."
Other services, such as Life350c ring door bell, are also experiencing issues.
Halifax has been approached for comment.
