Auburn Volleyball Drops Third Straight Match

The Auburn Tigers fell to the Tennessee Volunteers, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon, dropping their third consecutive match and now boasting a 0-4 record against ranked opponents.

Despite being one of the tightest matches of the season, the Auburn Tigers (13-6, 4-4) were swept by the No. 16 Tennessee Volunteers (14-3, 5-2) in a 3-0 final at the Food City Center.

Tennessee opened the first set with a quick 6-0 lead, but Auburn countered strongly, closing the gap to a 12-14 deficit. The middle and right sides of the Auburn offense found the most success, with
