Grace Wales Bonner Joins Hermès as Creative Director of Menswear
London-based designer Grace Wales Bonner has joined Hermès as the new creative director of menswear.
She is known for her eponymous menswear brand, Wales Bonner, and was a member of the host committee for the 2025 Met Gala.
Bonner's appointment makes her the first Black woman to serve as creative director at a major luxury fashion house, succeeding Véronique Nichanian, who held the position for 37 years.
